Recently we received word from our General House in Rome that 3 MSC priests and 7 lay people were beatified, who were martyred in the 1980s in Guatemala. Beatification is one step to sainthood. The names of the 3 MSC are Fr. Jose Maria Gran Cirera, Fr. Faustino Villanueva and Fr. Juan Alonso Fernandes.
The celebration of the beatification was held in Guatemala on the 23rd of April. The program from the beatification of the 3 MSC confreres and the 7 lay people who were martyred is available to read here.
